To be champions on the sustainability, we are looking for enthusiastic and highlight motivedcollaborators.Reporting to the R&D Team Manager you will become a part of our Global Sustainability Team in the ElectrificationDistribution Solution (ELDS) business. You will contribute to make our products, solutions and services more and moreeco-friendly.

Your responsibilities

  • Support the local ABB divisions in the execution of LCAs and relevant environmental product declarations, e.g. CFP, EDP.
  • Make sure the certifications of the environmental declarations are executed in accordance to standards and legislations.
  • Harmonizing processes/guidelines and practices that assure that the Product Sustainability is carried out with a common approach for entire ELDS product portfolio.
  • Promote the circularity concepts, as an example the “Environmental Conscious Design” culture within the ELDS organization.
  • Actively monitoring sustainability and environmental legislation.
  • Organize the necessary training to the local sustainability teams.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders of the global ABB organization.

Your background

  • Master’s degree in engineering or environmental science.
  • Previous work experience (at least 2 years) in environmental sustainability, Product Sustainability and sustainability reporting.
  • Knowledge in execution of LCAs, specifically with SimaPro, would be an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to write well-structured and well-reasoned reports, proposals and documents.
  • Attention to details while keeping the overall picture in mind.
  • Ability to switch fast between different topics, understand complex ecosystems and navigate cross-functional collaboration landscape.
  • Good communications skills.
  • Proficient/Fluent Knowledge of English level.
  • Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad when requested by the assigned activities.
