JOB PURPOSE

 

We are looking for a Retail and Merchandising Planner Manager to join our Prada Business Analysis and Budgeting team. Ideal candidate will be involved in budgeting, forecasting and planning activities at country and products category level working closely with Retail Merchandising. He/ She will produce analyses and reports by market or product category (Leather Goods, Footwear, RTW), supporting different stakeholders (Retail Merchandising, Industrial Production) driving commercial and strategic choices.

 


RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

•    Sales budget and forecast definition by product category/country collaborating with Finance and Retail Merchandising
•    Purchase budget definition by product category and typology working closely with the Retail Merchandising during buying process to ensure alignment between orders and budget
•    Perform analysis to monitor product categories sales performances, current markets trends and stock levels
•    Define sales forecasts to drive continuative items re-orders
•    Monitor marketing strategies and competitors product positioning

 


KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS 

 

Academic background in Economics, Engineering or similar degrees
6+ years working experience preferably in merchandising planning, demand planning, business analysis or related
Analytical mindset and passion for numbers
Skilled in data processing and consolidation
Fluent in English
