We are looking for an engaged and passionate Merchandise Planner to join our Worldwide Retail Planning & Allocation Department, in our HQ in Milan, Italy.
Your impact:
The Merchandise Planner will join our Worldwide Retail Planning & Allocation Team, reporting to the Central Senior Merchandise Planner.
The Merchandise Planner provides crucial support in the sales forecast and planning process, as well as in the generation of seasonal Open-To-Buy (OTB). This involves collaborating with various stakeholders to analyze sales trends, historical data, and market dynamics.
Key responsibilities:
* Support in the Sales forecast/plan process and the seasonal OTB generation
* Monitoring the actuals vs planned for the in-season
* Support for the End-of-season returns
* Managing the Eyewear seasonal OTB and monthly replenishment
* Buying check during the buying campaign
* Check and secure data quality and consistency
* Support in the development of the planning tool
Requirements:
* Proven working experience of at least 3 years in a similar role
* Academic background in Economics / Engineering or similar degrees
* Commercial awareness and strong analytical skills
* Ability to plan and prioritize work
* Demonstrated ability to evaluate business trends and draw actionable conclusions to maximize business opportunities
* Demonstrated ability to influence and effectively negotiate with cross functional business partners
* Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with aptitude to learn technical applications quickly
