Brief Description
Within perimeter of South Europe, the internship aims to train the intern on the key controlling capabilities and knowledge, giving deep insights into the work of Industrial Controlling department.
The intern will develop a good knowledge and understanding of (COMPANY NAME) industrial controlling model and processes focusing on Plant production and economic performance analysis in order to provide a full comprehension of the Supply Chain costs.
He/she will acquire planning and controlling skills and will understand the process flow thanks to the relationships with the colleagues working in the plants in the different areas involved (production, maintenance, quality&technology, safety&environment, HR and administration).
Key Activities
* Learning and contributing to the team's daily business activities
* Supporting in Monthly Closing and Reporting, managing autonomously some area of analysis
* Participating to release accurate Forecasts and Budget for Plants
* Ensuring a full alignment between the physical and economical performances of production, through the identification and analysis of the gaps and their reporting and communication
* Supporting the achievement of plant cost reduction objectives, in cooperation with the Plant Director, by developing a full breakdown and analysis of the results in order to provide a full understanding of the economic impact of technical decisions and of the overall plant performances
* Assuring the correct cost calculation of each cost component during budget process and monitoring them in actual in order to reflect in the forecast processes the events that generate variances
Who we are looking for
* Degree in Business Administration/Economics/Finance/Accounting
* Good MS Office skills
* International study/work experience
* Good relations skills, reliability, good time and deadlines management, pro-activity
* Fluent English
* Previous experience in controlling and/or operations is preferred
