Introduction

The International Markets (IMa) Security Office provides Transversal Security Services to entities in Africa, South America, the Middle East and Asia.

Under the leadership of the market Chief Security Officer, this hub consolidates these experts to augment skills and to support the entities within the region in an advisory role as a Physical Security & Safety expert.

The IMa Security Office has a presence in Asia (Hong Kong) and Spain (Madrid), with administrative support from GO BO in India.t

Job purpose

According to policy, the CEO of an entity is responsible for the security, health and safety of all employees during working hours, and whilst on business travel. Within AXA, this responsibility is delegated by the entity CEO to the Physical Security & Safety Officer.

To fulfil this responsibility, AXA Group has created a framework to be implemented by each local team. The Market Physical Security & Safety Manager provides oversight and training for all IMa entities, as well as first line Physical Security & Safety support for the direct assets and people within the IMa entity. 

In addition to this, the Regional Physical Security & Safety Manager provides an agreed set of services to the INM entities where they would benefit from expertise, economies of scale and managing resources to their best effect and achieving value for money.

Main Mission

Market Oversight:


Responsible for Physical Security & Health for the International Markets
Ensure the Market entities reach the Physical Security & Health targets assigned buy the Corporate Chief Security Officer
Provide templates for Physical Security and Travel processes and policies
Lead on Health & Safety compliance and advisory
Facilitate awareness and training for local entities to ensure compliance to Group standards
Ensure roles and responsibilities are well understood by local entities
Develop relationships between entities and Group functions to support in delivering controls
Develop relationships with local authorities, security forces and security-related networks to detect emerging threats and facilitate support during a security crisis
Support and manage stakeholder communication in case of an incident
Report on status and remediation progress to CCSO and Market Governance


Market Services:

 
Facilitate Crisis and/or evacuation Exercises for entities within the market, in collaboration with the Operational Resilience Officer
Facilitate Security Risk Assessments for AXA Offices and employees
Facilitate Travel Security Function for IMa, and other entities who require it


INM Office:


Support the IMa Crisis Management Team
Support local incident management 
Support Business Continuity controls and testing


Travel Security Function:


By delegation of the CEO; the person responsible for the safety of the employees of the entity during travel
Implement the overarching travel security plan and processes
Ensure that travellers are properly informed of any risks at the destination
Ensure that travellers have participated in appropriate Travel Risk Awareness training
Ensure that safety is considered when choosing travel-related services (such as airlines, taxi companies, hotels, and accommodation)
Ensure adequate travel insurance coverage for employees, including travel assistance and emergency repatriation services
Monitor and record employee travel details (in the contracted travel operator's system/website), keeping these records accessible in case of any incident or crisis
In case of incident, non-compliance with processes or misconduct, engage HR according to internal processes


Your Profile

PROFILE

Education

•    Undergraduate Degree is a plus.
•    Project Management is a plus.
•    Military, Police or Corporate security background is essential.

Experience
•    Experience in Physical security, audit, or related area > 7 years.
•    Experience in Business Continuity & Crisis Management > 3 years.
•    Previous experience as a Physical Security & Safety Manager, experience reporting to a CSO, Chief Audit Officer, Chief Risk Officer or other senior executive in an international organization.
•    Experience in Corporate Governance.
•    Direct experience of working in Africa or Latin America.
