Here's a brief insight of what your day to day will consist of: * Oversee the entirety of the project's sourcing activities. Collaborate closely with the Legal department to facilitate the creation and formulation of procurement contracts, ensuring the accurate representation of all commercial terms deliberated and approved with chosen suppliers during the tendering process, and confirming the completeness of all associated annexes.
* Take charge of and formulate procurement strategies at both the country and project levels. Aid in the examination of the supply chain to procure equipment, services, and technologies. Explore potential synergies with the Procurement Manager overseeing the UK pipeline.
* Cultivate and sustain industry connections with CRUCIAL suppliers. Stay updated on pricing trends and emerging best practices in the field.
* Demonstrating proficiency in establishing and overseeing transparent and well-structured scoring systems. Evaluating vendor proposals based on the established scoring system and maintaining accurate records of the tendering process.

* Support the Commercial manager in developing supply chain market intelligence, assessing how most critical suppliers are positioning in the market, keeping records of supplier appraisals, and take direct responsibility of keeping supplier evaluations up to date. What the ideal candidate looks like: * A minimum of three years of experience in a comparable procurement position within the offshore wind sector or other capital-intensive energy businesses.
* Engineering related degree
* Capability to collaborate effectively within an international team setting.
* Outstanding communication proficiency encompassing interactions with internal and external stakeholders and partners, both technical and non-technical.
