RINA is currently recruiting for a Project Procurement Manager to join its office in Roma within the Space & Defence Division.

Mission

Focus on providing various clients with engineering advice and technical solutions on different projects

Key Accountabilities

  • Scouting analysis for identifying new suppliers
  • Analysis of internal customers' purchase requests and of the attached technical documentation in order to evaluate the completeness of the requests in order to launch requests for
  • offers and/or tenders on the market
  • Management of tenders for site services and tenders related to the modernization or maintenance of company structures and infrastructures, evaluation, comparison and analysis of
  • the adequacy of the offers received.
  • Management of supply selection processes (such as tenders on the purchasing portal or direct negotiations), to be submitted to approval of the Direct Commodities manager
  • Application of the correct purchasing process and management of the issue of orders and/or contracts for indirect purchases, in particular contracts for site services, infrastructural works, facility management contracts
  • Evaluation, adequacy analysis and comparison of tenders received also respect at reasonable market values
  • Negotiation of the economic offers and coordination of the phases of technical deepening towards the Supplier
  • Assessment of suppliers (and any related risks) and maintenance of business relationships:
  • Preparation of reports and support for periodic progress meetings
  • Work with the requestor (internal customer who identifies the buy request) and with the multifunctional team in the process of selecting the best supply in terms of delivery times, cost competitiveness and correspondence to the technical requirement.
  • Operate in an operational and dynamic reality, and high propensity for team working.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General

Qualifications

 Technical skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication;
  • Proven knowledge and ability in managing and planning complex and international negotiations as well as supplier management techniques;
  • Ability to define and negotiate contracts (both commercial and legal aspects);
  • Advanced Knowledge of SAP (MP module)
  • Ability to work in an international team, with a multifunctional team being the focal point of the purchasing processes in charge;
  • Ability to negotiate and manage national and international competitions.
  • collecting the needs of the different companies of the group and calculating the savings in the compliance with company procedures
  • Rational and effective approach to work;
  • Customer orientation and ability to interact closely with key customers internal and suppliers.
  • Written and spoken English: Level B2
  • Knowledge of supplier selection criteria in the ESG area
