We are looking for a Software Quality Analyst (Automation) to join ourEnglish Technology Team. As a key member of our team, your tasks will primarily be creating and running manual and automated scripts, procedures, data and working on a medium functions/module of software testing.  You will be given an opportunity to mentor Junior Software Quality Analyst. Your role will also involve working with various stakeholders, including business product owners, Scrum Masters, project managers. With you in the team, Cambridge will be able to continue providing Software Quality assurance across a wide range of world-class online digital products and platforms.

What makes you the ideal candidate in this role?

We are looking for candidates with 2-4 years of software testing experience gained across one of the principal testing specialism (i.e., Automation and Manual Testing).

In addition, understanding, knowledge or expertise in the following are an advantage:

  • Good understanding of Software Development process including analysis and design, coding, testing, problem resolution
  • Experience in writing test code in multiple languages specifically Java,  JavaScript and PHP
  • Experience knowledge on Automated tools such as Selenium, Appium, Eclipse (IDE) or any house tool
  • Experience in Repository Management specifically GIT and Bitbucket
  • Relational Database Management specifically MySQL
  • Performance testing tool specifically Apache Jmeter
  • Agile development process (Scrum or similar)
