Marketing And Communications Manager

Autonomously carries on the work within the scope of its activities by collaborating with the Direct Manager to define priorities and manage loads. Contributes to the management and development of procedures related to the activities in which is involved and ensures that the outputs of its activities meet the quality standards required by the company. Ensures the timely compilation of activity tracking and attendance systems.

Ensures, in carrying out the tasks entrusted, compliance with rules, regulations and agreements regarding confidentiality and privacy, promptly reporting deviations.

Please note that this role will be remote and can be based anywhere in Europe where we have legal entities

Job Summary

The Marketing and Communication Manager is responsible to lead all the internal and external activities related to Marketing & Communication with the aim to develop the company communication strategy at an international level.

Creates communication programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its services including press-releases, short articles, PPT presentations, brochures and other promotional products.

Develops and manages marketing initiatives bringing forward innovative ideas, scouting events globally and always looking for new ways to improve content and OPIS exposure on a global scale.

Creates textual and graphic contents to be published on OPIS platforms and supports the business with RFI documents or proposals.

Responsibilities

• Writes proposal documents both on a scientific and operational perspective, in collaboration with the Proposal Writer or the Proposal Manager if needed
• Prepares an editorial plan, collaborating with the Business Development Team and other Units/Departments to collect information about OPIS life and projects
• Performs copywriting activities, writing short articles, posts or newsletters to be published on the Company channels (i.e. website or landing pages, social media platforms, OPIS intranet, etc.)
• Creates graphic contents to be used on the Company channels
• Prepares brochures, flyers and other material for conferences and public events
• Globally scouts on events, prepares a yearly conference plan and supports the Business Development Team in all the aspects of the participation to each event
• Implements Internal Communication initiatives for the whole OPIS group, in collaboration with the HR Team if needed
• Prepares detailed RFI documents
• Prepares PPT presentations and single slides
• Takes minutes meetings, if needed
• Constantly looks for ways to improve content and OPIS exposure on a global scale
• Substantiates ad-hoc content for various communications
• Prepares, executes and shares with the Board the Communication strategy for OPIS, with a particular focus on the Software Clinical.net
• Is responsible for all Marketing activities, always bringing forward innovative content
• Performs benchmark analysis and collects relevant data about marketing activities in the pharmaceutical/CRO environment
• Prepare Press-Releases on a continue basis for OPIS and its Clients
• Creates and manages potential ADV campaigns, monitoring the KPIs with external providers if needed
• Other tasks related to company internal and external communication.

Requirements

• Degree in a scientific subject, having a PhD in Life Science will be considered a plus
• At least 2 years of experience in the clinical field and in Marketing/Communication
• Fluent in English
• Experience in scientific writing (i.e. articles, presentations, proposals)
• Experience with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint
• Knowledge of graphic tools (i.e. Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Ilustrator) will be considered a plus
• Detail oriented and with a creative mind
• Strong Communication skills
• Ability to work in a team
