APPLICATION CLOSING DATE: June, 11th 2024 Human Technopole (HT) is an interdisciplinary life science research institute, created and supported by the Italian Government, with the aim of developing innovative strategies to improve human health. HT is composed of five Research Centers: Neurogenomics, Computational Biology, Structural Biology, Genomics, and Health Data Science. The Centers work together to enable interdisciplinary research and to create an open, collaborative environment that will help promote life science research both nationally and internationally. HTis looking for an Internal Communications Officer (maternity cover) to support its Communications Team. The estimated starting date for this role is September 2024 (variation may occurred) The role, reporting to the Communications Manager, will be responsible for supporting the delivery of all Internal Communications, including the management and regular update of the HT intranet. Your main tasks and responsibilities: - Collect and create content for the HT intranet, internal newsletter and other Internal Communications tools; - Work closely with all Administration & Research areas to support the delivery of communications on a wide range of topics including: health and safety, welfare and wellness, internal events, campus development projects, inclusion & diversity; - Support the Communications Manager in advising Senior Management in the delivery of updates and sharing of sensitive information; - Devise internal communication activies and plans to promote HT values and mission among staff; - Support the delivery of an internal culture of openness, diversity, dynamism and collaboration. Mandatory requirements - Degree in Communications or related fields; - One to two years of experience in communications/Internal Communications; - Knowldege of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc); - Excellent English writing skills and proven ability to draft editorial content. Preferred requirements - Experience in creating creative and engaging content across a variety of channels (both online and offline); - Previous experience in academic institutions or in internationally recognized research organizations; - Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Sharepoint, Forms, Stream, Onedrive, etc...). Organisational and social skills - Strong interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate effectively in a team and with other functions and departments - Comfortable with change and able to navigate through ambiguous situations in a fast-paced environment; - Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and to change priorities.
