Team Overview and Job Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced SAP MM Senior Business Analyst, to contribute to the successful implementation of projects, ensuring efficient coordination of resources and alignment with organizational goals.
Based in Milan, within the HQ Information Technology Department, the candidate, reporting directly to the Head of the IT Delivery Purchasing, will have the following responsibilities:
AMS (Application Management Services) and IT Projects Delivery:
The candidate will be accountable for the delivery of AMS and IT project activities, primarily focusing on SAP systems but also extending support to other central systems in the purchasing domain.
This includes managing resources, timelines, and ensuring successful project completion
SAP Kernel and Cross-Interface Governance:
The candidate will have governance responsibilities for the SAP Kernel and cross-interfaces with other central systems, collaborating with Local IT, respective IT Business Partners and HQ Business Team Leaders.
Roll-outs and Implementation Projects:
During roll-outs and implementation projects, the candidate will provide support for Fit-gap preparation, design of new functionalities, execution, data migration activities, testing, training, and post go-live support.
Documentation and Process Maintenance:
The candidate will be accountable for creating and maintaining documentation related to new technical solutions, including manuals for end users and Kernel processes:
Tutoring on the related CoE (Centre of Excellence) Team in Slatina (RO):
Manages competence center team members on the related area
Train all the Junior and medium team members
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a IT SAP MM Business Analyst Purchasing Leader with the following skills and motivations:
At least 5+ years professional experience working with SAP MM, SAP S4-HANA (Material Management) as Business Analyst and Area Leader, within multinational companies;
Nice to have knowledge on Logistics flows (SD) in particular Pricing schema and conditions, integration with financial SAP modules.
Deep Knowledge about Procurement Processes, vendor management & reporting
Knowledge on master data & customizing Configuration.
A Master’s degree in Management Engineering or Business Administration and Economics or equivalent
Extensive experience working with the SAP MM module integration points with other SAP modules and customization options.
Familiarity with SAP implementation methodologies, including system configuration, custom development, and testing. Nice to have Good knowledge of ABAP programming and debugging.
Proficient in gathering and documenting business requirements, conducting gap analysis, and proposing solutions aligned with business objectives. Ability to analyze complex business processes and recommend process improvements.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with business stakeholders, end-users, and technical teams.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, international project teams, ensuring timely project deliverables, managing stakeholder expectations, and coordinating activities with internal and external partners.
Good training attitude to speed up the team members growth and educational process
Able to meet strict deadline and work under pressure
Good English written and oral communication skills
International mobility
Desirable technical Knowledge SAP ERP 4.6 and ECC 6.0
