The Service Division is looking for an International Service Engineer – Pure Ballast System based in Genoa site (other sites will be carefully evaluated).

What about the job
The purpose of the job is to help marine customers with field service on Pure Ballast Treatment equipment. Main responsibilities include servicing and re-commissioning of old or existing Pure Ballast Treatment systems.
As International Service Engineer – Pure Ballast System, You will:
- be placed together with the local Marine Service team but work on an international level, supporting customers inside as well as outside your country
- be a part of a 24/7 resource pool where your job bookings are done through a global coordinator handling customer requests for service attendance
- collaborate with other members of the International Marine Service team, and act as technical support backup to global technical specialists and global coordinators if so required
- assist in performing local field service jobs if required
- travel internationally to where the jobs are requested (primarily within your region).
What you know
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5-10 years’ experience
- Experience as First or Second Engineer on board of ships
- Strong experience on automation/system integration. Preference will be given to ship electricians
- Very good spoken and written English
- knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments and Office package (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
