Information Systems Specialist – Wms

Our Lewisville branch is looking for a new Information Systems Specialist to join our Contract Logistics team.

Your Role

Reporting to the Regional Information Systems Manager, you will ensure the proper functioning of Contract Logistics (CL) Information Systems solutions for implementation and ongoing projects with systems configuration, escalation path, system and data quality assurance, systems performance reporting, and training of the Main users & warehouse management lead personnel to achieve CL Information Systems goals. You will be responsible for training colleagues; and for the support and administration of the computer systems our CL warehouse operations use. This includes Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transport Management Systems (TMS), Business Intelligence applications, Integration, Voice or Light Guided Picking systems and PCIP/Centiro. In addition to having a good oversight of general system use, the CL Information Systems Specialist will have in-depth knowledge in a system or process. You will work with CL Ops, Information Systems national, regional, and corporate teams.

Your Responsibilities

• You will troubleshoot and resolve complex systems issues at our Memphis location
• Be the Information Systems representative to the client and operations, participating in new customer implementations including configuration, testing of applications, and go-live support
• Help implement EDI Mapping and data flow between Kuehne and Nagel & our Customer
• You will produce working instructions for Information Systems/IT and help create training documentation
• Participate in joint continuous improvement programs with operations and IT
• System validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the implementation of new updates and upgrades
• Perform testing for software release installation updates to our WMS and other applications
• You will be the point person for incident management

Your Skills and Experiences

• 3 years experience with 3PL products including warehouse management systems, transportation, and order management systems or ERP.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Computer Science, or a similar degree.
• Manhattan WMOS is beneficial
• This role requires occasional national travel (10-15%)
