In this role, you will be an integral part of our People and Culture (P&C) team. Collaborating closely with your colleagues, you will ensure that compensation, benefits, payroll, and payroll administration activities are carried out flawlessly and with exceptional care. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining compliance and efficiency in the payroll processes for the UK and Ireland. Your Day to Day • Support employees with HR-related queries regarding payroll and benefits, including tax, stocks, P11Ds, global mobility tax, pension, and salary. • Serve as the subject matter expert on payroll and tax matters. • Lead the implementation of changes to stay up-to-date with legislative updates. • Manage the HMRC and Irish Revenue Online Services portals, reconcile payments, ensure continued compliance, and handle any messages/alerts. • Liaise with HMRC and the Irish Office of Revenue Commissioners on employment tax and payroll matters. • Collaborate with the insourced payroll function to accurately calculate and administer stocks encashment. • Provide support to the insourced payroll function for exceptional payroll, benefits, or tax requests. • Oversee the modified payroll process, maintain documentation, and ensure continued compliance. • Take responsibility for data accuracy throughout the payroll process. • Maintain payroll performance data, such as error baseline and employee satisfaction. • Continuously improve end-to-end payroll and benefits processes in line with PMI culture. • Act as the key point of contact for payroll and tax-related audits. • Coordinate with external partners for payroll and benefits, ensuring that agreed-upon agreements are met. • Manage vendors and vendor contracts for payroll and benefits. • Support the delivery of People and Experience Delivery (P&ED) activities as required. This role reports to the Senior Team Leader of Product and Experience Delivery for the UK and Ireland. In addition to the above responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to projects and be an integral part of our transformation journey towards a smoke-free future. About you: • You are someone who has extensive experience in managing UK payroll, ideally including modified payrolls and payrolls involving multiple 3rd parties. • You’ll have experience in payrolling benefits and P11Ds. • Experience in handling expatriate taxes and excellent knowledge of UK legislation pertaining to payroll and tax is key. • Knowledge and experience in managing payroll in Ireland is highly desired. • You’ll have a collaborative, agile, and growth mindset and are someone who genuinely cares for employee experience and is commitment to employee-centric service delivery. • You are someone who is motivated by data and the use of data to continuously improve service. You will be required to have the right to work in the UK and strong UK employment/legislation knowledge to be considered for this role.
