Global Buyer
This position is responsible for purchasing and planning raw material & products for the company. The Global Buyer will order the products according to correct specifications and will ensure all quality and schedule requirements are met. This position is required to maintain strong vendor relationships to assure long term supply at competitive pricing and performance. They will also be responsible for planning raw materials and finished products by maintaining proper inventory controls within the company guidelines.

Responsibilities:
- Managing Procurement & planning processes including Quality, cost, and delivery primarily from North America, Asia, and other Global Suppliers.
- Responsible for managing supply levels based on immediate demand, forecast quantities, and material/product lead time.
- Daily responsibilities will include entering and issuance of purchase orders to vendors.
- Timely communication with suppliers to manage on-time delivery of open orders and liaison with multiple departments including Operations, Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, and Accounting.
- Tracking of incoming shipments and preparation of delivery paperwork.
- Contact point for sales and customer inventory queries.
- Assist with shipping and receiving from 3PL warehouses.
- Expedite supplier shipments; identify and resolve any potential delays while keeping impacted departments informed of any materials delays & measures taken.
- Knowledge of Inventory management basics and effectively manage surplus and obsolete inventories.
- Effectively plan and calculate the inventory required to restock products or parts based on Reorder level and Min Max model.
- Manage/Support compliance, quality control, and quality assurance standards and
- specifications.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations or Supply chain is required.
- 3–5-years experience in Procurement, Global Sourcing, and planning.
- Knowledge of Import logistics processes and exposure of working with International Suppliers is preferred.
- Strong analytical & systems skills including proficiency with integrated software applications (Net Suite preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Team player with a positive and great attitude in a highly cross-functional organization.
