Freight Forwarding Sales Executive

Our client is a growing full-service International Freight Forwarding & NVOCC company based in Lodi, NJ with in-house Licensed Customs Brokerage & Asset-based Container Drayage Division.
Freight Forwarding Sales Executive
Our client is searching for a Sales Executive who is goal-oriented, self-disciplined and has a can-do attitude, with a proven track record and minimum 3 years Industry experience.
Job Type: Full-time/ Hybrid
Responsibilities:

• Develop Sales Leads and plan targeted Business Development
• Promote company’s full suite of logistics services
• Build a portfolio of accounts
• Cold calls and frequently meet with prospective customers
• Maintain accounts and keep up with fast-changing market conditions
• Attend trade shows and other similar events
• Identify new markets
• Primary Focus on Ocean Imports from Far East and SE Asia
• Report to VP/GM

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of Inside and/or Field Sales experience in major Freight Forwarding & NVOCC companies
• 4-yr Bachelor/College degree in Business or Logistics preferably
• Computer literate
• Excellent communication/organization/presentation skills
• Travel 50% or more when and where necessary
• Proven track record, existing clientele is a plus
• Must have full knowledge of Import and Export operations (previous Import Operations work experience is a plus)
