JOB PURPOSE
To provide support to the Finance and Administration Manager of Western Europe Area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Management of period end closing postings (accruals, deferrals, stock evaluation, depreciations, foreign currency revaluation,…);
• Managing Intercompany reconciliation procedures;
• Management of fixed assets master data and postings;
• Management of the postings related to lease agreements according to the IFRS16 principle;
• Monitoring that all the accounting processes have been completed correctly;
• Supports in:
- The complete, timely and accurate preparation and submission of the monthly reporting package;
- Cash flow reporting;
- Interactions with the auditors for group management reporting and statutory accounts and for the release of their reports;
- The preparation of the intrastat declarations;
- Providing data and managing relationships with insurance companies;
- Special projects, if any.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance;
At last 3 years’ experience in a multinational context;
Fluent in Italian and English. French is considered a plus;
Good knowledge of IFRS;
Knowledge of SAP R3 (FI, CO, AA, MM) and of Tagetik applications is considered a plus;
The ability to have an excellent overall overview although working with a considerable amount of detailed information;
Capable to meet deadlines.
