About the roles :
We have an exciting opportunity as we are growing our Southern European Public Sector Sales Development teams and are looking for a proven 2nd-line manager to lead our hyper-growth region. We seek an individual who is looking to further their career in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a focus on France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal.
We are searching for a proven, tactical, and strategic Senior Director to lead the South EMEA Sales Development teams to drive pipeline generation and coordination across the verticals to maximize business growth. This proven sales leader will possess great energy, hustle, strong people skills, strong leadership, and initiative to drive outstanding business results and first-class employee development.
The Senior Director is fully responsible for developing, managing, mentoring, and inspiring the teams to achieve optimal performance and qualified pipeline. In this role, you will define and implement plans, pivot as the organization grows, and take ownership of the outbound pipeline generation in the region of Southern Europe. Your ability to partner with senior stakeholders, and the supporting functions, incl. Marketing, Sales Strategy & Programs, will define your success. You will be a critical contributor to the corporate sales strategy, providing a healthy and reliable inbound pipeline to support the overall sales organization and achieve the region’s objectives.
You will play a key role as you lead these highly visible and motivated teams that achieve individual, team, and organizational quotas. You'll be a valuable contributor to the corporate sales strategy while providing definition and implementation of the plan for Sales to achieve corporate objectives.
Responsibilities :

  • Oversees Salesforce Public Sector South Business Development functions through a team of first-line managers.
  • Responsible for coaching and developing a winning team (hiring and training)
  • Drive rigorous sales development execution and oversight, ensuring accurate forecasts and total transparency
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Pipeline Programs, Sales development, and other sales teams to develop operational strategies and execution plans for new geographies, products, and market segments
  • Responsible for ownership of various aspects of the business including but not limited to: Marketing Initiatives, Enablement, Programs, Operations.
  • Build and conduct executive presentations for internal presentations and for external presentations in the form of executive briefings to customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders
  • Strives to continue with creating an engaging, high-performing, values-driven Salesforce culture.
  • Accurate reporting on activity to senior sales management
  • Consistent monitoring of team activity and tracking results
  • Actively leading and monitoring demand generation activities
  • Leading initiatives to drive customer awareness and engagement
  • Motivate Individuals and teams to exceed objectives through coaching, regular broadcast of results, and creative incentives
  • Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of the process, efficiency, and productivity
    Required Skills :
  • Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly to new demands; sense of urgency
  • Strong senior executive engagement and influencing skill
  • Proven ability to create high performing teams and lead them to success
  • Excellent presentation, listening skills, and executive engagement skills
  • A self-starter that can thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • 4+ years of second-line management work experience in sales development, sales or equivalent function with significant exposure to sales teams
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Ability to own and execute on highly visible projects and initiatives that span cross-teams and across offices
  • Outstanding communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Process-oriented
  • Fluent English and French, Spanish/Italian a plus, affinity with regions mentio
