RINA is currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager - Management Consulting Services to join its office in Genoa, Milan o Rome - Italy within the Consulting Commercial Division.

Mission

We are looking for a Business Development Manager with an engineering background and experience of working across Industry projects to provide the momentum we need to realize our vision and achieve our growth plans. This resource will support leading Italian and International companies in boosting their competitiveness where materials, technologies, innovation and sustainability play a critical role, providing expertise for many types of strategic industrial initiatives. This role requires a suitably qualified individual who has a proactive and results-oriented mindset.   

Social, sustainability and technological changes coupled with a strong competitive market scenario are transforming traditional strategy approaches. In this evolutive framework, RINA support business leaders in managing complex business issues to improve profitability and long-term value. RINA sustains the top management in re-designing a new corporate strategy to be ready for the present and future challenges and support the operations leader in the development and implementation of related action plan.   

Key Accountabilities

  • Identify new business opportunities, pursuing and capturing new channels   
  • Understand the client needs and match them with our services and solutions to solve real problems   
  • Pro-actively setting up and delivering high-impact business and tech presentations & closing business opportunities   
  • Monitor subsidized finance instruments to be used as commercial leverage to push on our solutions and services                  
  • Lead and support contract closing activities and capture lessons learned   
  • Explore opportunities for alliances and partnerships to exploit new markets and opportunities   
  • Work with sister companies across RINA Group to develop ‘cross selling’ and mutual opportunities with clients   
  • Track competitor activity and provide timely updates on competitor news and intelligence to the team   
  • Prepare and submit timely and accurate monthly reports of Business Development activities delivered and planned #LI-MT3

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General

Qualifications

 

• having at least 3/5 years of experience within a consulting environment ad BD will be considered as a plus

• Tech enthusiast, with cross-functional experience working across teams like product, Business Development, sales, and marketing   

• A track record driving business within different industrial sectors (e.g. hard-to-abate, manufacturing, energy)   

• Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken
