The Chief Data Protection Officer (CDPO) is in charge of setting up the AXA XL Division Data Privacy strategy and leading the 2^nd line of defence Privacy team to achieve ongoing compliance with regulatory and AXA Group Data Privacy requirements. 

The Data Privacy & AI Specialist (the “Specialist”) will play a key role in supporting the AXA XL Division in meeting its obligations under Data Privacy laws and in safeguarding responsible usage of AI within the AXA XL Division.  Reporting to the Divisional Chief Data Privacy Officer (CDPO), the Data Privacy& AI Specialist will support Data Privacy and AI compliance matters, including Ethics management, and assist the CDPO.

What will your essential responsibilities include?

·       Participate in ongoing safeguarding of usage of AI Systems within the Division:

·       Participate in the review and update of the AI Risk Assessment Framework, in particular for what concerns Ethics Management, follow-up regulation and guidance,

·       Perform review of AI Systems in in close collaboration with Data Scientists and Chief Data Officer team and Business, and in collaboration with other DP team members,

·       Coordinate with AXA Group when needed on Ethics management,

·       Participate to compliance projects to meet Data Privacy regulatory requirements in collaboration when required with 1^st line of defense and Data Privacy team,

·       Performing Transfer Impact Assessments and Data Privacy Impact Assessment on projects and tools, update Register of Processing Activities,

·       Performing 2^nd line of defense controls when required, supporting Data Privacy team in performance of those controls when required, participate in preparation of Group reviews of Divisional Data Privacy & AI Compliance,

·       Review for appropriateness service or business contracts under which personal data processing activities are performed.

You will report to the CDPO.

·       GDPR on-field experience – 2-3 years in France, with good knowledge of GDPR and interest in Artificial Intelligence

·       Legal background

·       Project Management skills

·       Leadership skills; including the ability to work with all levels of seniority.

·       Takes initiative. Ability to lead subjects independently.
