For your prime mission you will join a highly specialized team of experts across Europe to further establish the use of robotics in spinal surgery. As one of the European Clinical Specialist you lead the onboarding of new Mazor hospital sites, train surgeons and hospital staff, support robotic procedures on the correct use of the equipment and mentor local technical specialists. You will mainly support your region, but where required you will also provide support to the other regions across Western Europe.
As part of our European clinical expert team, you will also master navigation, intraoperative imaging and cranial robotics and support the teams in the countries for clinical activities, trainings and events. A Day in the Life
• Drive the 3 mains must win battles for Mazor in Western Europe: Open new Mazor centers; Excellence in safe therapy adoption; Protect and gain market share for (COMPANY NAME) Spine.
• As the European Clinical Specialist Spinal Robotics you lead, coordinate, and execute new robotic installations in your assigned territory in collaboration with local country sales teams.
• You support spinal robotic procedures in the OR (operating room) to drive utilization. You help the hospital surgical team with the correct usage of robotic equipment during the case.
• You support the local teams with clinical evaluations, (re-)trainings and OR support for complex cases for navigation, intraoperative imaging, and cranial robotics.
• In partnership with the European Clinical Specialist supervisor and the local team, you support the organization of case support, relationship management with surgeons and OR staff, troubleshooting and scheduling of equipment servicing.
• In collaboration with the Sr. Training and Education Specialist you support the training and education of surgeons and hospital staff as well as training and mentoring of local (COMPANY NAME) technical specialists.
• As part of the European marketing team, you support marketing activities in your assigned region as well as European marketing activities as a support to drive the adoption of spinal robotic technology.
• Operating with a high level of autonomy and little oversight, you will be recognized as an expert within our robotics team.
Must Haves
• Prior experience as Clinical Specialist in OR: experience in clinical evaluation/education
• Scientific, technical or clinical background/ engineer; technology savvy
• Very good knowledge of the OR environment
• Fluent in English
• Strong communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, a relationship builder
• A positive person who is autonomous and resourceful and who is not afraid to think outside the box
• Enjoys travelling within Europe (ca. 70-80%)
• Can-do attitude, perseverance and someone that thrives being outside their comfort zone.
Nice to Haves
• Knowledge of technical equipment such as surgical navigation and/or imaging
• Knowledge of spinal procedures
• European working experience
• Fluent in Spanish
