Join our team as a Software Engineer (for our Digistat team) and take responsibility for customizing our medical software solutions. Your role will involve specific customization tasks related to data extraction and display, achieving configuration through T-SQL queries, and integrating HL7 messages (ADT, OBR, SIU) by implementing database objects such as Stored Procedures, Views, and Scalar and Table Functions in an MS SQL Server environment.

Your Contributions:

  • Reviewing current systems.
  • Presenting ideas for system improvements, and new configurations/developments.
  • Working closely with analysts, system engineers and Customer integration engineers.
  • Actively support the implementation of custom modules.
  • Testing the integrations and the reporting facilities in controlled, stage environment
  • Preparation of related documentation.
  • Maintaining developed integrations and reporting systems once they are up and running.
  • Write well designed, testable, efficient SQL script code.
  • Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.
  • Document and maintain developed functionality.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and aide team members in any configuration or performance issues.
  • Comply with project plans and industry standards.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Eye for detail, analytical, and able to identify problems.
  • Customer focus: Striving for high customer satisfaction.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent field experience.
  • Proven experience in full-stack design and development and familiarity with REST API design.
  • Knowledge of the C# language and the .NET framework (ASP.NET Core/EF), MVC.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6), HTML, CSS, and one or more major front-end development frameworks (React, Angular, or similar). REACT is the technology used in Ascom.
  • SQL Server.
  • Experience with version control systems (preferably GIT).
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Team-oriented work attitude.
  • Fluent in English.
  • HL7 standard and in general Clinical Software Integrations is a plus.
  • MIRTH knowledge is a plus
  • Knowledge of the Healthcare domain is a plus (with specific reference to Acute Care and Surgery setup).
