An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Banqueting Operations Manager role at Grand Hotel Timeo, a Belmond Hotel. The role is to support the Events team and provide excellent and personalized guest experiences while leading and coordinating the banqueting teams during the Season 2024. This is a seasonal position starting latest mid-March 2024.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about the hospitality business and willing to provide authentic, luxury experiences in a world-renowned destination to our guests. They should demonstrate care, confidence and curiosity.
As the Banqueting Operations Manager, you will report to the Food & Beverage Manager and be responsible for providing an excellent and personalized guest experience, leading and coordinating the banqueting team (outsourced), organizing and supervising all Banqueting Operations as planned by the Events Office and/or F&B Manager, managing and developing staff in everyday operations according to our standard and procedures, maintaining a professional relationship with guests and colleagues, anticipating guests' needs and handling guest complaints, monitoring stock levels and ordering replacement deliveries, and complying with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Effective & strong communication (verbal and written) in Italian and English
- A third language (preferably French)

- Professional knowledge of Italian cuisine and Italian & International wines
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience within the same role in a luxury environment
