Job Title: AVD VDI Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AVD VDI Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our clients utilizing Azure Virtual Desktop for their virtual desktop infrastructure needs. You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment operation and maintenance of AVD VDI solutions while delivering outstanding customer service and support. Key Responsibilities: Provide timely and effective technical support to clients experiencing issues with Azure Virtual Desktop VDI environments. Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems related to connectivity performance application compatibility and configuration of AVD VDI solutions. Assist clients with the deployment configuration and optimization of Azure Virtual Desktop VDI environments ensuring alignment with their business requirements. Monitor the health and performance of AVD VDI environments proactively identifying and addressing potential issues to minimize disruptions. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including developers infrastructure engineers and product managers to escalate and resolve technical issues. Create and maintain documentation knowledge base articles and training materials to educate clients on best practices for using and managing Azure Virtual Desktop VDI solutions. Communicate effectively with clients via email phone or support ticketing systems to provide updates on the status of their support requests and ensure customer satisfaction. Stay updated on industry trends emerging technologies and updates to Azure Virtual Desktop VDI offerings to continuously enhance technical skills and expertise.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field. Proven experience in providing technical support for virtual desktop infrastructure solutions preferably Azure Virtual Desktop. Strong understanding of Windows operating systems networking concepts and cloud computing principles. Experience with virtualization technologies such as HyperV VMware or Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp. Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to VDI environments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams. Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Associate are a plus.
