Key Responsibilities: Design mechanical systems for spacecraft, including structure, thermal, and mechanisms, including troubleshoot design issue. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define and implement engineering solutions. Support the fabrication, assembly, and testing of prototypes. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate design and test results to the team Perform component dimensioning through hand calculations using a static equivalent loads approach. Draft manufacturing documentation and assemblies procedures. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Mechanical Design. At least 1 year of experience in composite structures design. Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly techniques used in the aerospace industry. Proficiency in CAD software, background in CAD PTC Creo software is a plus.
