We are recruiting for an Application Analyst who will be part of our HR Solutions Support Team. This team is responsible for delivering end user support across our HR platforms, with Workday as our core HCM.

What will you do as an HR Solutions Support Application Analyst?
The Application Analyst will take charge of supporting the business and end users across our HR platforms throughout the entire employee life cycle.
You will need to work closely with the HR Solutions Delivery team during regular development and SaaS releases. The Application Analyst will also use their knowledge of business-as-usual application use to feed into our development roadmap.
The Application Analyst would be expected to support our HR tools in the following ways:
- Liaise with colleagues in response to 2nd line helpdesk incidents and requests through email, voice and video calls; empowering users and working with the wider company.
- Work with HR to document their processes, and help locate opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure application security is well maintained and that roles are routinely reviewed, making sure that permission levels are appropriate.
- Develop and maintain subject matter expertise to inform decisions and approaches taken by business stake holders, project and BAU-support teams.
- Identify trends in incoming tickets, and use this data to constantly improve our service model and self-service information.
- Work with the HR Solutions Delivery team to ensure all development and improvements are reported and understood prior to handover into BAU support.
What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?
We have a strong preference towards candidates who have extensive experience supporting Workday in a technical capacity and are looking for someone with a high level of communication and IT skills. In addition to this we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant professional qualifications and/or experience.
- Appropriate industry - standard certification or at least 3 years' experience in 1st/2nd line support or HR Operations
- Experience of one or more of the following are not required but is an advantage: eArcu, Appreciate
- Strong analytical, problem - solving and conceptual skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to adapt to both technical and non - technical audiences. The post-holder must be fluent in written and spoken English.
- Ability to work well on cross - functional project teams and foster team unity to tasks.
- Knowledge of, and experience of working within the ITIL framework.
