We are looking for a Category Manager to manage body categories for our Consumer Product Division. An excellent category manager must understand consumer needs and the retail environment. They must have a commercial mindset and full comprehension of marketing and sales principles. Good communication skills are also key for category managers as it is at the center of the organization. The main goal is to increase the size of the business to drive sustainable growth.
During the assignment, the category manager will be key in the launch of a new brand in the Italian market.
Responsibilities
- Analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends
- Develop category growth in the short and long term
- Foster trust relationships with Channels, Marketing, RGM and Sales team to achieve the targets
- Determine “Go to Market” (distribution, promo activities etc..) of the category
- Collaborate with POS excellence to ensure the best exposition in point of sales
