In Whitebridge Pet Brands we are looking for a:
VENDOR MANAGER
The Vendor Manager will join the Supply Chain department and will manage purchasing based on defined business needs and supply chain requirements to ensure efficiency in procurement processes and to ensure that budgets are met or improved.
Main responsibilities/duties:
· Manage the main activity of VENDOR MANAGER of finished products: In particular:
o maintains commercial relations with national and international suppliers with whom supply agreements are in place.
o negotiates with them the renewal of purchasing conditions with a view to total cost ownership (TCO)
o monitors market trends, keeping internal stakeholders informed.
o cooperates with management control on the reporting of purchasing costs.
o cooperates with internal departments in verifying compliance with agreed procedures (delivery schedules, product quality, payments, etc.) and the management of any complaints and returns, minimising their economic effects on the company.
o manages the ongoing evaluation of suppliers according to defined scorecards.
· Monitor supplier performance to verify that products and services comply with contractual agreements.
· Organise commercial audits and visits to suppliers' factories and warehouses, with final reports to be shared with the manager.
· Manage ongoing relations with approved and contracted suppliers of finished products, with reference to assessing performance and supply costs.
· Guarantee the best purchasing conditions in relation to market trends.
· Play an active role in innovation and improvement processes by collaborating with the functions involved.
Requirements:
· At least 5 years of experience in a similar role: VENDOR MANAGER/senior buyer
· Origin from pet food, food & beverage, pharma or similar sectors
· Excellent English knowledge
· Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
· Willingness to work in an international and dynamic environment.
