We are recruiting for a passionate Test Analystwho will be part of Exam Technology Organisation (ETO) – QA & Testing Services Team in Manila. The role will provide support to the wider Testing Services team within Cambridge University Press and Assessment to deliver an improving QA and test service within the Exam Technology Organisation (ETO).

What will you do in this role?

Working under the supervision of Manila Team Lead, the role involves providing the full range of test deliverables on a variety of projects (agile and waterfall) delivering a wide range of IT changes from technical refresh projects, developing new systems or applications, to integration only activities.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Acquire sufficient knowledge on product functionality / performance criteria to enable test specifications (including test cases) to be produced
• Design and produce appropriate test cases and test data for each aspect of testing to enable evaluation of the overall system under test
• Significantly contribute to review, and production, of test artefacts – User Stories, Test Plans, Test Specification, Test Cases, Test Scripts, Test Data & Closure reports - with reference to test improvement materials
• Fully record and document test results and any defects found
• Work with client and business contacts to undertake acceptance testing
• Use and configuration of test tools

What makes you the ideal candidate in this role?

The ideal candidate should have excellent understanding of Quality Assurance principles and processes with sound comprehension of software development lifecycle, demonstrable ability to conform to processes to suit the needs of the projects within business constraints and the ability to liaise with applicable teams and communicate technically.

In addition, we seek for candidates that have experience, knowledge, or expertise in the following:

• With 3-5 years testing experience in a formal testing environment and can deliver the full range of Test Analyst skills to test planning, test preparation, execution, and closure
• Experience in Agile development methodology
• Effective use of test tools: JIRA, qTest, SQL, Postman, SoapUI, Selenium-Cucumber-Java, Git, Jenkins, Sourcetree (advantageous), Saucelabs (advantageous), JMeter and Blazemeter (advantageous)
