- Ortho experience required
- The previous traveler preferred

Using the recommended clean needle technique your Physical Therapist will insert a filiform needle into the targeted muscle with the goal of getting a twitch response. While the twitch may cause a little residual soreness research has shown that the twitch is an essential part of the needling process that helps to reset the muscle reduce your pain and improve your overall function. After needling is performed your Physical Therapist will provide you with individualized exercises to help the muscle return to its proper function.
