Position
Mission
The position is in Bagno a Ripoli (Firenze). Within the LG Product Development Man Office, the candidate will follow all the activities related to the research and industrialization of leather products.
Main Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the style office for the stylistic trends and to check research results;
* Materials research and development;
* Define a raw materials development specification;
* Collaborate with Quality Department in order to define the technical aspects, testing activities for raw material and to verify compliance according to the company's qualitative parameters;
* Use the database (Modelform) to register the technical data sheets of materials shared with suppliers;
* Monitor the orders of samples leather;
* Control the quality and industrialization of raw materials;
* Anticipating and managing production issues, proposing solutions when required.
Profile
* Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or equivalent;
* Experience (4/5 years) in the fashion industry or tanneries;
* A past experience in industrialization of leather;
* Excellent knowledge of materials (Leather) and of production processes;
* Strong attention to new trends and research;
* Ability to work under pressure;
* Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
* Fluent in Italian, good knowledge of English.
