This is an exciting opportunity to join RWE Renewables and shape tomorrow’s European green energy landscape. The RWE Renewables Europe & Australia (OPEA) Technology to Business team is looking for a “Technical Innovation Partner “. As TI Partner you will support and manage Technical Innovation projects, related to Solar and Onshore Wind topics, and you will be working in close cooperation with all the three RWE Renewables OpCos.
 

Responsibilities

  • Supporting of the Technology to Business Team in Technical Innovation project management across the OPEA Renewables 
  • Working together with team colleagues, experts and stakeholders to drive the development of a business-value focused innovation
  • Communicating within Renewables OpCos to share best practices and use synergies across the whole RWE Group.
  • Supporting project managers and other project stakeholders and ensuring appropriate project reporting
  • Supporting the technical and economic assessment of new technologies/ products
  • Supporting Floating-PV topics within Technology to Business Team
  • Ensuring compliance with the applicable Promoting a positive culture of HSSE awareness and continuous improvement and learning
     

Qualifications

  • Successfully completed university degree in engineering, natural sciences or comparable energy technology experience
  • Relevant professional experience in renewables 
  • Good conceptual, analytical, and technical skills
  • Excellent team-player with very good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Solution oriented and independent working style
  • Understanding of floating PV technologies and trends
  • Operational and/or technical experience in Solar and/or Onshore Wind is desirable, as is experience in innovation
  • Fluent in written and spoken English with other languages (out of Italian, German and French) being a plus
