Technical Advisor

Job Description Summary: Provide leadership and initiative in the overall coordination of high level and detailed design deliverables including designs for technical architecture and system interfaces to meet business requirements/specifications for significant projects. As needed, apply specialized technical knowledge to advise other teams and recommend solutions to technical design problems. Lead and/or assist in resolution of complex production problems. Mentor development of those in less senior positions.
Job Specific Information:
Technical Skills:

• Proficient in utilizing Tanium's endpoint management and security platform.
• Knowledgeable in operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Skilled in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript for automation and customization within Tanium.

Analytical Skills:

• Proficiency in analyzing extensive datasets to recognize trends or anomalies concerning endpoint configurations, software usage, and security events.
• Ability to interpret Tanium query outcomes and translate them into actionable insights for enhancing security posture and operational efficiency.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues related to endpoint management, security, and compliance.

Communication Skills:

• Effective communication prowess to collaborate with stakeholders across diverse teams, encompassing IT operations, cybersecurity, and business units.
• Capacity to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences, including executives or end-users.
• Capability to document findings, recommendations, and best practices related to Tanium usage, workflows, and configurations.

Security Knowledge:

• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices, inclusive of risk assessment, incident response, and security controls.
• Familiarity with prevalent cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls, or ISO 27001.

Domicile/Relocation: Collierville, TN. Relocation Assistance available for this Position.
Remote Verbiage: The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree, in computer science, engineering, information system or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Requires five (5) or more years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements..

Salary Range Estimate: Monthly Salary: $7,764.00 - $9,954.00. This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, your work location, how many years of experience you have, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
