Job Description Summary
At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace Company, we've been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.
The Systems Integration Engineer will be responsible to coordinate and integrate design activities at Engine System level, as required to fulfill Engineering milestones relevant to a new Miltary Program.
He/she will report to the System Engineering Manager
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
* Own design activities at Engine System level
* Integrate & support modules level design activities
* Define and control interfaces between Engine modules
* Define and control product configuration at Engine System level in accordance to Company Policies and Procedures
* Proactive resolution of any technical issue escalated at Engine System level
Qualifications/Requirements
* Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering Master Degree
* Ability to lead horizontally with multi-functional and multi-cultural teams
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* English language fluency
* Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
Desired Characteristics
* Previous experience in an Engineering Role
* Previous experience with New Product Development (NPI) process
* Six Sigma training
* Knowledge of Lean principles and methodologies
