Main activities: - Supplier selection and sourcing for assigned commodities. This includes RFQ activity, analysis of supplier responses and quotes and placing blanket purchase orders; - Leading and facilitation of pricing negotiations and contract discussions, dealing with all the Company Departments needed to fulfill the targets; - Support cost savings initiatives for commodity base; - Support and resolve supplier issues such as accounts payable resolution, past due deliveries, and risks related to production lines and aftermarket customers. - Support special projects as necessary; Develop / implement supply base management strategies both regionally and globally that lead to lowest total cost in terms of quality, lead time, delivery, and pricing
Requisiti del candidato:
Required skills: Mechanical Engineering degree or business degree or similar Good analytical and problem solving skills Demonstrated ability to collaborate as an effective team member Good communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint SAP knowledge (preferred) Result driven and action oriented Fluent in English, any other language is an asset (Italian could be a plus)
