About the role:
We are looking for a Supply Chain Managment Engineering Specialist who will join in Electronic System Logistic team, reporting directly to Plant Logistic Manager.
The person will have the responsibility to manage internal logistics projects including methods for the replenishment of the production lines.
This position is based at our office in Corbetta (MI).
As Supply Chain Managment Engineering Specialist, you will:
- Analysis of logistics processes, material flows, equipment, warehouse and identification of improvement areas;
- Maintenance of 5T/5S in collaboration with Production Manager and Warehouse Manager
- Optimization of saturation of shuttles for material internal flow, taking the leadership on improvement process (AGV, automatic reorder, shuttle rebalance, ..) for eliminate NVAA time;
- Collaboration with PP&C (Workplace Organization) for new product launch in term of definition of new logistics flows;
- Manage the Master Data, BOM in SAP related to the new products according to Process Engineering request and work on Logistics Technical Standard (stock parameter, consignment stock);
- Planning and implementation of transportation budget (normal, premium freight);
- Manage operative work of transportation activities and reporting (invoices check, PFA/truck plan approval request);
- Periodical analysis of obsolescence fund and accrual, management of related action plan in order to minimize and prevention of obsolescence;
- He will therefore have to know the milk run and AGV methods.
What you will bring:
- Engineering Degree (Managment)
- Full professional proficiency in English
- 3+ years’ experience in Manufacturing / Logistics roles (on field)
- Advanced knowledge of ERP (SAP)
- Advanced knowledge of Office tool (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook)
- Logistics basics: technical knowledge of raw materials/parts identification;
- Logistics flow;
- Ergonomics basic knowledge;
- Managerial skills and team work;
- Nice to Have: International job experience.
