We are seeking a Studies and Simulation Engineerwith background in electrical engineering and expertise in “Simulation & studies” to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of sustainable transport by conducting power system studies, simulations, and calculations for power supply infrastructure projects in e-mobility, hydrogen, and rail sectors. Your expertise will be instrumental in conceptualizing & optimizing solutions, ensuring equipment’s sizing and grid compliance. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the continuous growth of our organization.

Your responsibilities
Conducting power system studies like Load Flow, Short Circuit, and Power Quality (Power factor & Harmonics Analysis), Arc Flash studies using software tools.
Perform sizing calculations and analyze data to conceptualize effective solutions with available products, for meeting power system challenges.
Conduct reliability & availability calculations to ensure optimal technical configurations & solutions.
Understanding the Grid performance requirements and compliance.
Ensure compliance with Customer’s specifications and requirements.
Interact with customers and various internal stakeholders including sales, tendering, R&D, Product Specialists.
Collaborate effectively with remote teams to enhance communication and coordination in projects.
Primary focus on tenders and projects in eMobility, Hydrogen & Rail sectors.
Occasionally travel to visit customers, representing the company and strengthening client relationships
Requirements
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, specialization in power electronics preferred.
3 to 4 years of working experience as a Power System Engineer, Project Technical engineer or any similar position
Good understanding of Medium and Low voltage AC, DC Electrical distribution systems, AC & DC system modelling.
Experience in conducting power system Studies and calculations (e.g. Load flows, short circuits, harmonics analysis, Design optimization, reliability & availability, Opex and Capex)
Strong Analytical skills and attention to details
Excellent communication skills in English. Fluency in German and/or French will be preferred.
