The research project aims to investigate the bilateral
interaction between labour market and innovation at the macro and microeconomic level,
with a specific focus on the empirical analysis conducted at the firm and sectoral level.
The project will investigate the employment impact (both levels and composition of the
manpower) of technological change, with particular attention to automation and to the
diffusion of artificial intelligence. Moreover, the role of the endowments of competencies
in fostering technological diffusion will be investigated, as well.
