About Politecnico di Torino:
The Politecnico di Torino, founded in 1906 from the roots of the Technical School for Engineers created in 1859, has a long-standing tradition of leadership of polytechnic culture. It is one of the most important universities in Europe for engineering and architecture studies. About MSCA - Postdoctoral Fellowships 2024:
MSCA PF funding is aimed at postdoctoral researchers with up to 8 years postdoctoral experience, who wish to acquire new skills through advanced training and opportunities for international, interdisciplinary and intersectoral mobility.
There are 2 types of Postdoctoral Fellowships: European and Global Fellowships, which implies specific mobility requirements. Project durations range from 24 to 36 months. The financial contribution covers 100% of the costs for the entire period of the fellowship and includes the researcher's salary, mobility expenses, research costs, and a contribution to the host institution's overhead costs.
About MSCA PF @ POLITO:
In Horizon Europe POLITO has 131 projects approved so far (about 42M€); among them PoliTO is proudly Host Institution of 14 Postdoctoral Fellowships (2.6M€) in the period 2021-2023.
Applicants can apply to MSCA PF 2024@PoliTO and choose Politecnico di Torino as Host Institution for a MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships (European or Global) proposal can benefit from dedicated support, which specifically consists of:
- Infoday on the call for proposals and In-depth webinars (to get updates on next events check the MSCA PF 2024@PoliTO page)
- Q&A sessions dedicated to each applicant and his/her supervisor
- On-demand support with dedicated staff
Applicants who choose POLITO as their Host Institution, must:
- Meet the eligibility requirements for the Call for Proposals: with particular reference to the mobility rule and the limit of 8 years of certified research activity from the PhD title. ;
- Identify a POLITO Supervisor (you can search a potential Supervisor in your research field on our Research database);
- Applicants, both intern and extern to Politecnico, who wish to take advantage of the dedicated support for proposal submission, are requested to sign the "Letter of commitment".
