INNOVATIVE CIRCULARITY OPTIONS IN MEAT PROCESSING INDUSTRY MEAT-ICO

The research activities will
be within the MEAT-ICO project, which aims to design and demonstrate at TRL6,
processes for the production of biomethane and biochar starting from residues of the meat
PROCESSING INDUSTRY through laboratory studies and experiments, which involve: (a)
gasification (b) digestion with larvae (c) anaerobic digestion and (d) hydrothermal
processes.
