We are currently seeking for an experienced, talented and passionate professional SPA Manager to coordinate the wellness centre of our prestigious property.

He / She will carry out facial and body treatments to a high professional standard and will be able to advise guests on their skincare regime and on other appropriate treatments.
The ideal candidate has strong management skills in running all aspects of a spa.
Reports to the Hotel GM.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for overseeing the efficient running and profitability of service in both spas, ensuring that policies and procedures are complied with the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction;
  • The role involves hands on treatments. He / She has to maximize treatment and retail sales through excellent telephone skills, repeat bookings, customer care;
  • Enable the department to achieve company’s revenue targets on a daily and monthly basis while ensuring compliance with all standard operating policies, procedures including Leading Quality Assurance.
  • Competencies required
  • Communication skills: communicates clearly and in an appropriate manner (both verbally and non-verbally) that positively impacts on their role, the business and Belmond. Uses and interprets non-verbal behaviours to enhance understanding. Shares information across the business in a timely manner to inform better decisions.

  • Drive results: sets clear goals and expectations and maximise resource allocation to deliver an exceptional and consistent high level of service to internal and external customers by anticipating and exceeding their expectations.
  • Adaptability: efficiently prioritises and handles multiple demands and tasks and remains calm under pressure. Supports and promotes change and innovation.
  • Global perspective: treats each other with respect and inclusiveness regardless of position, level or background. Seeks opportunities to engage with others.

Requirements

  • NVQ level 3 in beauty therapy or equivalent required. The knowledge of other massage techniques will be an advantage.
  • Previous experience in de-luxe hotel & spa environment required, 3 years at least.
  • Leadership skills, skilled at building a cohesive team and facilitating goal accomplishment, developer of others.
  • Must have a positive attitude and be able to handle stressful situations.
  • Fluency in Italian and English. Third language preferred.
  • Outgoing personality yet discreet in nature. Natural flair for details.
  • Excellent Pc & social media skills.
