Job Title:        Social Media Manager

Salary:            £33,300 to £43,400

Location:        Cambridge/Hybrid (twice a week or more in the office)

Contract:        Permanent/Full-time

We are on the lookout for an innovative Social Media Manager to join our newly merged International Education marketing team. In this role, you will define and execute Social Media strategies, collaborating with marketing colleagues to develop and execute campaigns and activities that not only elevate brand awareness but also inspire action from our target audiences, driving us towards our marketing objectives.


You will craft and implement strategies, create compelling content, and leverage analytics to optimise performance, fostering a thriving online community. By setting and managing processes, policies, schedules, as well as training and sharing best-practice and metrics, you will ensure we are having a growing and positive impact on our customers and brand.


About the role

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

 

  • Develop and execute holistic Social Media strategies and KPIs, fostering brand awareness, audience growth, and engagement across platforms.
  • Manage and deliver a Social Media content schedule, delivering campaigns and aligning and integrating with other channels to achieve objectives for key audiences.
  • Lead online conversations, cultivating engagement and loyalty to convert communities into lasting customers and advocates.
  • Establish social listening strategies, crisis management frameworks, and collaborate with internal teams to shape and inform content priorities.
  • Define governance principles, operating processes, and continuous improvement measures for social channel management globally and locally.
  • Stay updated on Social Media trends, experiment with new approaches and tools, and manage external suppliers for efficient delivery of any outsourced activities.

About you

To excel in this role you will have a proven track record in developing impactful Social Media strategies for large, international audiences.
We're looking for someone who:

 

  • Considers the customer in everything you do
  • Can coordinate integrated campaigns, aligning content to resonate with key audiences and objectives.
  • Is insight-led, with a passion for data, testing, measuring and listening.
  • Brings organisation and structure to our global Social Media governance and processes to drive continuous improvement.
  • Has experience in leading online conversations, fostering engagement, and turning communities into brand advocates.
