The main goal of the candidate Chip-Package Interaction (CPI) engineer is to manage CPI of Smart Power technologies platform during Front-End development, transfers or changes. In particular:
- To develop and qualify of new pad/pad over active and seal ring structures (from layout till reliability trials)
- To coordinate multi-functional teams, including EWS R&D, BE R&D, Product Reliability, Quality, Product Engineering
- To define risk assessment and qualification plan of CPI projects.
- To release CPI documents for FE development/transfers maturity certificates
- To release layout rules for pads and seal ring.
- To assist designers in the definition of the suitable pad ring in new ICs and to provide support in the prototype debug phase.
- To perform thermo-mechanical simulations of chip-Package Interactions and to assist the design of new pad/pad over active structures to improve their mechanical robustness.
- To publish papers on new technical findings
Profile
- Bachelor or master degree in material science, physics or electronic engineering
- Main FE and BE steps knowledge
- Basic reliability knowledge
- Finite Element Modeling tools knowledge
- Fluent English
- Layout skills

- Problem-solving skills
