Site Service Technician

Job summary
Our team of talented Service Engineers in Italy is growing! If you have experience in troubleshooting, field repair, or providing technical support on Electrical and Mechanical systems and equipment, we’d love to speak with you.As a Site Service Technician, you will have good electronic repair troubleshooting methodology and will have solid communication skills, both oral and written.You will have the ability to read and follow electrical/mechanical schematics to assist in isolating faults to root cause components/assembly.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for meeting daily service repair needs and driving customer satisfaction.• Installs, repairs and maintains equipment in the field; provides customer training as required.• Documents all inspections, maintenance, repair work and submits paperwork on a timely basis.• Order, install, and return parts and manage repair parts cycle time.• Reviews all logs for open issues and prepares formal reports to customers as necessary.• Ensures that tools and test equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.• Assesses product/equipment performance based on field support data; recommends modifications or improvements.• Seeks to provide technical support to customers and other service professionals as required.• May participate in site surveys, pilot program service activities, attend meetings, champion special projects and prepare exclusive reports.• Find and repair any X Ray equipment breakdown.
Requirements
• Preferable Electrician or Mechanical Diploma with related experience. Equivalence achieved through comparative work and life experience is acceptable.• Computer literacy, competency in the use of all programs within MS Office Suite and aptitude for learning specialized software programs.• Experience directly involved in troubleshooting and field repair of electrical and electronic systems and equipment - industrial automation experience is preferred.• Good communication skills and a strong orientation for customer focus and teamwork.• Good knowledge of PC and network IT skills.• Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, QNX and DOS commands would be an advantage.• Experience in PLC and Industrial Automation would be an advantage.
