Senior/Principal Biostatistician

Hobson Prior is seeking a Senior/Principal Biostatistician to provide statistical support and expertise to studies in the Respiratory therapeutic area, across both early and late phases. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development of Statistical Analysis Plans and study protocols, and contribute to study design discussions and sample size calculations in project meetings. Additionally, the role involves reviewing CRFs, analysis datasets and TFL specifications, and offering statistical consultancy to a key client regarding study design, the conduct of statistical analyses and interpreting the statistical results.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide statistical support and expertise to studies in the Respiratory therapeutic area.
• Lead the development of Statistical Analysis Plans and study protocols.
• Contribute to study design discussions and sample size calculations in project meetings.
• Review CRFs, analysis datasets and TFL specifications.
• Offer statistical consultancy to a key client regarding study design, the conduct of statistical analyses and interpreting the statistical results.

Requirements

• PhD (preferred) or MSc in Biostatistics, Mathematics or a related topic.
• Proven experience as a Statistician within the Pharmaceutical, Biotech or CRO industry.
• Proficiency in using SAS or R programming software.
• Experience in Respiratory studies would be advantageous, but not required.
