Senior Reporting Analyst - 12 Month Ftc

We have a role for a Senior Reporting Analyst to join the group reporting team, on a 12 month fixed term contract. As Senior Reporting Analyst, you’ll prepare and analyse comprehensive financial reporting on behalf of the CFO for the Management Committee and AXA Group. You’ll also review reporting submissions, look to improve the accuracy of reporting, and ensure accuracy of core group reports, through effective automated or manual controls and reconciliations, whilst improving alignment of financial reporting between Finance and other functions.

What you’ll be doing: 

• Challenge errors and look to improvement quality and delivery time.
• Co-ordinate, prepare and analyse comprehensive financial reporting.
• Produce monthly and ad hoc financial performance packs to a high standard.
• Develop and nurture relationships across the business leading to detailed understanding of the reporting process.
• Effectively manage senior management and stakeholders through the reporting process.  
• Work with operating company teams to improve the quality of their commentary and ensure they understand reporting requirements.
• Support the UK Strategy Teams in the analysis and reporting of competitor results for Reporting to UK & Ireland Management Committee and as required by Group.
• Co-ordinate and prepare the Annual Presentation to Rating Agencies as presented by the CEO and CFO at the Annual review of the UK& I Ratings.
• Collate additional source information to support the CEO and CFO in preparing for meetings.

What we’re looking for :

• Professionally qualified accountant such as ACA, CIMA, ACCA or suitable post qualification experience.
• Understand and analyse complex financial information process management.
• Possess general knowledge of financial sector activates.
• Ability to write clear, concise and informative reports.
• Effectively communicate with stakeholders and provide an insight into key areas of focus in the financial result.
• Understand the roles within the team and key roles within the business.
• P&L and Balance Sheet technical knowledge in relations to Insurance businesses.
