Senior Project Manager - Services (F/M/D)

Description

In the position as a Senior Project Manager you will lead the execution of medium size to large and moderately complex projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety, and environment requirements, financial targets as well as schedule commitments.

This position can be fulfilled completely remotely in Europe, we are prioritizing skills and experience over physical work location.

Your responsibilities

•  Lead business project execution for HE Services tools and process improvement and support strategic transformation programs in the execution phases 

• Drive standardization and simplification across businesses to review business needs and improve service tools and processes 

• Ensure and maintain that projects are alignedwith the given goals and HE Services business strategy and direction anddeveloped according to priorities  

• Ensure that projects have solid business case(s) with completed and analyzed business requirement(s) and properly estimated and agreed costs and benefits 

• Support IS PM in project planning, defining and managing scope, budget, and risks, creating mitigation strategies, and managing project issues 

• Support IS PM in ensuring the project is properly reviewed and stays on track with respect to scope, budget, timeline and ensure benefit delivery  

• Ensure that the productdelivered by the project has optimal business value 

• Support BU’s in organizing user acceptance testing and ensuring that adequate user training is carried out 

• Ensure that the transition to live use is safe and effective as well as proper business documentation during project execution 

• Facilitate status reporting of projects to the business management teams 

• Plan and coordinate project cutover, hyper careand handover and ensure status reporting of projects to the project OpCo and Steco 

• Coordinate with the Process Owners to ensure business participation and buy-in  

Your background

• Bachelor's degree or higher (Science, Statistics, Computer Applications, Engineering)

• Minimum experience of 8+ years in Projection Execution and Business Service Operations with a minimum of 5+ years as Project Manager

• Extensive experience in executing projects on a global scale

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to convince and influence stakeholders in the interest of the project

• Ability to work under pressure to deliver projects with time, cost, and quality

• Experience in working in an international and multicultural environment

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Ability to travel 50% of the time in the beginning. Afterwards 25%
