We’re recruiting in our People Team to support our new People Operating Model. We have a new Senior People Project Consultant role, responsible for co-ordinating and leading the successful delivery of People Projects that support the business strategy and drive transformation set out in strategic people plans. 

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, at one of our office locations Dublin Derry or Belfast.

What you’ll be doing: 

Working closely with the Strategic People Partners and People Centres of Excellence to conduct research, the Senior People Project Consultant will collect and analyse data to identify issues, provide advice, and work with the team to develop and implement innovative and pragmatic solutions to solve business problems that have measurable impact and add commercial value.

•    Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders wearing multiple hats to coordinate across different groups.
•    Lead, design and deliver People projects/innovative solutions and change in partnership with the business to ensure continuous improvement and value add to the business and our customers.
•    Manage and track the project plan, actions, risks, dependencies.
•    Work alongside the Strategic People Partners to scope key projects and manage project delivery.
•    Responsible for effective project controls and procedures within their given initiatives.
•    Develop and sustain collaborative working relationships across the organization, and ensure regular feedback on progress, milestones achieved and any blockers to success to the Strategic People Partners and Head of People Strategy, Projects and Transformation and any associated key stakeholders so that they are fully engaged in the delivery outcomes and progression of the project during its lifecycle.
•    Produce and deliver relevant presentation packs for Key Stakeholders as required to support Projects or initiatives where necessary.
•    Deliver project communications and ensure all communications are written and delivered in the right way and inspiring people to come on the journey.
•    Provide expert advice and guidance to the business on People policies, processes & procedures relating to the project delivery.
•    Analyse HR MI to diagnose business/people problems and recommend provide effective solutions (e.g. data on turnover, headcount, discipline and grievance, performance management, absence, reward) 


Your Profile

•    Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR with at least 2 years in a management role, operating in a business partner model is beneficial
•    Degree or equivalent in relevant field, and/or HR qualification such as CIPD
•    Knowledge of current HR practice and employee legislation and its implications for the business.
•    Project Management experience and familiar with Project Management methodologies.
•    Experience of leadership, management and delivering complex change/transformation projects on-time, within scope of financial savings and positive HR experience for those impacted by the change.
•    Experience of managing and delivery multiple projects and initiatives at the same time
•    A commercially aware and customer centric individual who actively seeks customer feedback to monitor progress & make improvements 
•    Ability to develop strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels 
•    Proactive ‘can do’ attitude with excellent interpersonal skills, making good first impressions with a natural ability to be tactful, diplomatic and professional, pragmatic and calm individual in time-pressured situations.
•    Well organised with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, whilst maintaining strong attention to detail and being results-focused  

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in Ireland and/or the United Kingdom.
