As you step into the role of Senior Growth Marketing Project Management Specialist within Medtronic's dynamic Multichannel Marketing & Innovation EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) team, you're not just joining a company; you're embracing a mission. This position drives operational excellence to monitor effectiveness, enhance decision-making, and improve performance. Utilizing strong Project Management skills with great attention to detail, this role drives the successful orchestration of a Growth Marketing multichannel campaign targeting healthcare professionals or patients and ensures the development and delivery of all integrated marketing communication materials.

A Day in the Life

Project Management :
• Oversee timely and successful execution of multichannel Marketing Projects, ensuring adherence to predefined goals, scope, schedule, priority, and budget by planning tasks, managing risks, maintaining quality standards, motivating teams, monitoring progress, and managing scope changes. 
• Manage day-to-day operations of European Marketing Projects, including product launches, tradeshow participations, and digital campaigns (web, paid media, and email), ensuring timely and effective production of materials to support Medtronic's marketing objectives.Project Team 
Project Team Leadership and Collaboration:  
• Effectively oversee and lead cross-functional teams or individuals within various departments or areas of expertise, fostering collaboration, communication, and cohesion across organizational boundaries, including 3rd party agencies. 
• Manage capacity planning of execution teams (internal and external), evaluating timeline trends for future schedules and estimates. 
Process Management and Improvement: 
• Ensure consistency and standardization of workflow processes within Workfront (Project Management tool), encompassing tasks such as opening jobs, building/updating schedules, obtaining approvals, tracking status/metrics, and maintaining documentation. 
• Drive continuous improvement in process efficiency and optimization, facilitating the swift delivery of projects by leveraging training opportunities and staying abreast of industry practices through research, thus contributing to the team's overall effectiveness in project execution. 
Financial Management and Compliance: 
• Monitor and manage financials, while proactively mitigating issues related to scope, schedule, budget, and quality, ensuring smooth project execution and adherence to company standards and regulations. 
• Continuously track and ensure compliance with local content and advertisement regulations, collaborate with stakeholders to maintain branding consistency, manage asset lifecycle, obtain regulatory approvals, and address reviewer feedback, while also verifying claims with scientific evidence and literature in collateral materials. 
Asset Management: 
• Facilitate DAM system management and associated processes to ensure assets are maintained according to procedures, within lifecycle, renewed where applicable.

Must Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Science with experience in creating promotional content.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the marketing or communication field, in either a corporate or agency environment. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive, self-managed, and collaborative work style with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Proficient in driving project updates and Project Management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fast learner in digital platforms.
  • Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.

  • Experience using Workfront
