As we develop an enterprise-wide data and digital strategy that moves us toward greater focus on the use of data and data-driven insights, we are seeking a Senior Data Specialist I, Strategic Demand Management (SDM). In this role, you will contribute to the maturing of Data Delivery and Operations.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
· Aide in managing the intake of Client and or Insurance data demand requests by tracking via the ticket management system.
· Analyze and resolve Client and or Insurance data domain ad-hoc data requests.
· Help with coordination of data demand activities across various divisions within IDA / AXA XL / AXA organization when required.
· Contribute to the assessment of estimates as well as the creation of business cases.
· Promote continuous enhancements of demand intake processes across IDA.
· Assist in the preparation of demand metrics on key measures, promoting better decision-making by IDA leadership.
· Support SDM in planning, documenting, and implementing of process improvements associated with IDA data and business demand on an ongoing basis.
· Monitor the effectiveness of current processes and make recommendations that will improve operations and streamline processes.
· Instill a customer-first attitude, prioritizing service for our business stakeholders above all else
You will report to the Scientist, Strategic Demand Management line manager.

Required Skills and Abilities:
· Capacity to understand department, division, and corporate strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related/relevant areas of responsibility.
· Developing competency aimed at gathering & interpreting business requirements with advanced beginner analytical and application skills.
· Resiliently determines and executes straightforward research/analysis.
· Novice level of experience and ability to influence.
· Qualifications for understanding business problems, problem-solving and agile delivery methods.
· Aptitude for analytical problem-solving and process improvements.
· Data wrangling and analysis experience preferred.
· Familiarity with creating enhancing & documenting processes preferred.
· Innovative mindset.
· Results-driven and detail-orientated.
· Effective interpersonal skills.
· Ability to build trust and rapport within and across functions.
Desired Skills and Abilities:
· Proficiency in MS Excel (i.e., pivots) or reporting tools to generate metrics for understanding demand portfolio.
· Working knowledge of MS Office, SQL, and Power BI preferred.
· A minimum of an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
· Relevant years of experience in a data role (analytics, specialist, or engineer).
· Good presentation, communication (oral & written), and relationship-building skills, across all levels of management and customer interaction.
· Passion for process and data.
· Involvement working within a data-driven organization.
· Capability to work with team members across the globe and across departments.
